I’ll give it a fair 1/10. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
I haven’t had a Salisbury steak frozen meal since I was a kid so I decided to give this one a go. Problems I had with it is that this is considered a mega meal but they give you not that much mashed potatoes, barely any taste. Im from a white family and I’ve had food with more seasoning than this, lastly it had the taste and consistency of hospital food. It was very soft and mushy. Anyways I tried.

There’s one from Encor but, you get just the steaks in mash ands six patties it’s so good. I usually pour some sriracha and other spices in through the slut you have to make to jazz it up. It’s always a favourite of mine on a cold day.

I keep seeing the Stouffers frozen chipped beef on toast (aka shit on a shingle) at the store and I keep wanting to try even though I know it’s going to be awful.
I think the last time I ate one of these was 3 decades ago and it was shit quality. I can’t even imagine what this has devolved into with the gradual enshittification of everything.

Nite Hawk salisbury steaks are good if you can find them. They have a charbroiled flavor to them and they have them with a lot of different sides – there’s one with mac & cheese, one with tater tots, one with loaded mashed potatoes, one with ranch beans and cornbread, etc.
That’s gonna come out of you looking about the same.

Yeah, there are good meatloaf/Salsbury steak frozen meals but banquet is not one of them. Frankly nothing from banquet is really any good, definitely one of the lowest tier frozen meal brands
